Chris & Heather's wedding day was nothing short of pure happiness, and their very own fairytale.
How did Chris Propose? "He took me to lunch and Christmas shopping in the city followed by a carriage ride at night and we stopped at a gazebo at the Drake Hotelwhere we got out to take pictures, then he got on one knee and proposed"
With Heather's smile and Chris's charm these two show their love for one another through their wedding photos. Their wedding was even filmed by a local news station, vows had the room in tears and their first dance song was, "Hero" by Mariah Carey surrounded by friends and family. They even had their doctors at their wedding and personally thank them in front of all their guests'. You may have seen them on the Steve Harvey's Show telling their inspirational love story, and they were even featured in the UK Magazine, Real People (Article & Photos at the bottom).
If you are a Hallmark Channel fan like myself (Ask me how many I've watched during busy season, and countless hours at my computer editing), I cannot wait to watch a beautiful couple I've known for a few years, have their incredible story shown for all to watch. With out giving too much away, this is one movie you will cry, laugh and truly be inspired. This beautiful couple even make a cameo in the movie as well. Tune in tonight for Once Upon a Christmas Miracle as Orland Park's very own Heather & Chris Dempsey's real life fairytale unfold for all to watch and be inspired about love & living donation this holiday season.

[Wedding Wednesday, Dominic & MaryKate] Chicago Wedding Photographer, Spirit of Chicago
When I first met Dominic & MaryKate, at their wedding consultation, we it off immediately. From our personalities to interest and we grew into a friendship.
A March 29, 2014 Wedding Day, when we are all itching for summer to arrive, how perfect was it to be able to sail out on Lake Michigan aboard The Spirit of Chicago beautiful boat for a dinner & wedding reception? It was just that, perfect. Their wedding day started off seperated of course, MaryKate at her childhood home in Chicago and Dominc at his apartment in the city of Chicago. As they both got ready calm, and collected, everyone then heading to the gorgeous Holy Family Church where their ceremony was. During the ceremony, they laughed, cried and got married. We then headed to a local bridge, by bride & groom request and did formal photos with the bridal party and then headed to Navy Pier for dinner & reception. Even with construction going on around Navy Pier, everyone boarded the boat and arrived on time. The details from the beautiful square head table with pizza cutters on each plate as a favor, to the gorgeous flowers, and of course the sunset peaking through each window both upstairs and downstairs on the dock. As guest boarded, and we then left the dock and sailed Lake Michigan, on a gorgeous night. The guests' took their seats and the bride/groom made their way from the upstairs balcony to the main level during their annoucement as husband & wife, and cut their cake followed by their first dance with a little movement of waves from Lake Michigan, the song was, "Everythiing," By: Michael Buble, and a blessing by the Groom's Uncle Mike. Dinner was served followed by continued first dances (father/daughter & mother/son). Dance floor opened and champagne toast and speeches were made and the dancing didn't stop until we docked back at Navy Pier.

WELCOME! Today is the official launch day of my BLOG! So excited to share all the wedding's I have photographed in 2014 so far (4 of them to be exact with another one this weekend).
First wedding up is Sean & Erin's. I knew Sean from high school, and when I first met Erin, she was such a sweetheart, granted, we both had the same name, so that was even better. We met at a local Tinley Park Starbucks, and when they told me where they were going to be getting married, The Danada House, I was so jealous. That was one of the first places I had looked at last year when I was looking at wedding venues to get married at, simply because it is GORGEOUS! After we went our seperate ways that night, we had such great conversation and going through packages, wedding albums samples, Sean said more then once, "I have to say again that I was very impressed when we met." That was an amazing compliment and truly appreciated hearing those words from a fellow classmate. Needless to say they booked with me, and their wedding was a true love story.
Erin and her bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride got ready at Erin & Sean's house in Naperville. I arrived and everything was running on schedule. I started working on all the details, Rings: David Nelson Jewelers, Wedding Dress from Wolsfelt's Bridal, Bridesmaids Dresses from David's Bridal.
Sean & his groomsmen (brothers & future brother in law) got ready at Sheraton Lisle Hotel. Groom & Groomsmen were wearing suits from Formerly Modern.
Once we made our way to the Danada House where the ceremony & reception was going to take place, Erin finished up getting ready and now it was time to put on her beautiful dress.
The Father of the Bride was waiting behind the white French doors to see his daughter, the bride for the first time.
And now, the FIRST LOOK is about to happen. Sean & Erin had invisioned how they wanted to do their first look, utilizing the beautiful staircase in the front hall.
Sure enough, after the bride and groom have an emtional first look, we head outside too take bridal party photos. Mother nature at it's finest, decided it wanted to bless the bride and groom with rain showers for good luck at this moment. We all headed back inside and finished up photos prior to ceremony.
Guests started to arrived and take their seats for the ceremony.
After stealing the bride and groom away for some photos during cocktail hour, the themed reception, Candlight Spring began, just as the sun was setting.
Wedding Cake: LaLaLi Bakery
